Everything was perfectly organized, starting with the convenient pick-up directly from our hotel and ending with a comfortable drop-off back at the hotel. The dune bashing was so much fun and definitely a highlight of the trip! "We had an incredible desert safari with Nadeem as our guide! He was simply fantastic from beginning to end – super friendly, attentive, and took perfect care of our family (there were six of us) the entire time. The tour was a real highlight: quad biking through the dunes, sandboarding, and to top it all off, a beautiful resort camp with delicious food, camel riding, and several amazing shows. The fire show was simply unforgettable!"

When something went wrong
We don't hide our lower ratings. Here are two from 2026 and what we did about them.
"This activity deserves to give more time to visit the magnificent Grand Mosque. This place deserves attention. Otherwise; pick up and drop off at the hotel, clean vehicle, punctual driver, times respected. We knew the pick-up time of the guide at the hotel, the day before at 10:30 pm. It's late."

What we changed: we now plan about 1.5–2 hours inside the mosque, and less on Fridays because of prayer times. We confirm your pickup time by 7:00 PM the day before. Your guide then messages you from their own number between about 8:00 and 10:30 PM to confirm again. That later message comes from guides who are still out on evening tours, so it's a second confirmation, not the first.

Our reply (Daman, Feb 2026): "Please be assured that we do not condone or conduct business this way… We have a zero-tolerance policy for our guests being steered toward dishonest vendors."
What we changed: taking guests into shops is no longer allowed. A guide only stops at a shop if a guest asks, and then the guide tells our office, so we can check that nothing like this happens again.
