If conditions make a tour unsafe or impossible to operate, the booking is refunded in full. Not a credit note, not a partial refund, not a voucher against a future trip — the full amount, in every case.
We would rather lose a day's revenue than run a trip we are not confident in, and we would rather you booked knowing that than hedged against it.
Separately from weather, you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your start time for a full refund. Inside 24 hours, bookings are non-refundable — by then the vehicle, the guide and the camp places are committed.
If your plans move rather than disappear, ask about rescheduling before you cancel. It is usually the easier fix for both of us.
Weather calls are made as early as conditions allow, and we contact you on the number attached to the booking. Dubai weather turns quickly enough that a call occasionally comes on the morning itself — if it does, it is because we waited as long as it was sensible to wait rather than cancelling a day that might have been fine.
