Not every desert is the same desert.
The photo that made you want Dubai — the tall, deep-red dunes glowing at golden hour — that's Lahbab. Roughly 50 minutes and 50 to 60 km from the city, where the sand turns iron-oxide red and the dunes climb 80 to 100 metres. This is where we run.
Most budget tours never get there. They stop at the flat, golden dunes of Al Awir, close to the city, because it's quick and cheap. It's a desert — but it isn't this one. No tall red walls of sand, no real dune bashing, no landscape worth the photo.
We built Desert Thrill around the real thing. The dune bashing, the sandboarding, the sunset photo stop — all of it happens on the Lahbab red dunes. A proper desert safari, not a short ride over flat sand.

Full description
This evening safari combines hotel pickup, Lahbab dune bashing, sandboarding and a sunset stop with dinner and live entertainment at the camp. The current Premium listing adds sofa seating and a wider buffet to the essential evening package. Transfers, the desert activities and the camp programme make the full experience about six hours.
A Premium booking is not automatically an exclusive-camp booking. Shared and private-vehicle choices can have different price units and party limits, so check the package label and total shown for your date before payment.
Quad bikes and dune buggies are optional extras on this tour. Compare the package details before paying if a self-drive activity is part of the trip you want.
